(Come Into The Open)
Video installation, DV-PAL, color/sound, 9:00 min (2003)
The film projected onto a translucent screen begins with the view of a port. The scene starts to move, a ferry port passes by, staggering slightly. The coastal fortification is sailed round, the direction changes and the open sea comes into sight. The last part of the coast disappears. What remains is a limitless rocking, free of all coordinates. Even the horizon, as it glides out of the image, ceases to be an anchor.
